Sovereign Ally offers monthly and annual subscription plans that provide access to our AI-powered legal research and education platform. This Refund Policy explains our practices regarding cancellations, renewals, and refunds. By subscribing to any Sovereign Ally plan, you agree to this policy.
We currently offer the following subscription types:

All Sovereign Ally subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel. You will receive a reminder email before each annual renewal. Monthly renewals do not include advance reminder emails, so we encourage you to track your renewal date in your account settings.
You may cancel your subscription at any time using one of the following methods:
Option 1 — Account Settings: Log in to your Sovereign Ally account, navigate to Settings → Subscription, and click "Cancel Subscription."
Option 2 — Email: Send a cancellation request to [email protected] with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation" and include your account email address.
Option 3 — Mobile App: If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you must cancel through the respective app store according to their cancellation procedures.
Cancellation Deadline: Cancel by 11:59 PM two days before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next billing period.
For example: If your monthly subscription renews on the 20th, cancel by 11:59 PM on the 18th. If your annual subscription renews on March 15, 2027, cancel by 11:59 PM on March 13, 2027. This gives a clear, unambiguous 24-hour buffer before the charge runs.
Sovereign Ally does not issue refunds for subscription fees that have already been charged. This applies to both monthly and annual plans. Once a billing period has started, no refund will be issued for that period, regardless of whether you use the Services during that period.
When you cancel your subscription, your access to paid features will continue through the end of the billing period for which you have already paid. You will not receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of your subscription period.
Annual subscriptions are billed in full at the start of each annual period. No partial refunds are issued for annual plans if you cancel mid-year. Your access will continue through the end of the annual period you paid for.
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund in the following limited circumstances:
To request an exception-based refund, contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with documentation of the issue. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged. Free trial periods are offered once per account.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in the immediate suspension of your account and may be referred to a collections agency. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and promptly.
If you subscribed to Sovereign Ally through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your subscription is managed by the respective app store, and their refund policies apply. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through app stores. Please contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests related to app store purchases.
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the effective date. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
